ScoutRV and Trailer Trader
If you stock cargo, utility, dump, car-hauler, tilt, gooseneck, deck-over or equipment trailers, they do not belong in an RV feed — and they are not simply dropped. They go to Trailer Trader.
How it works
- The two Trader-family feeds partition the same inventory: the RV feed takes RV classes, this one takes trailer types, and a unit that resolves to neither is excluded from both rather than shipped as a wrong-category listing.
- Spec columns are trailer-relevant — length, width and height, GVWR, empty weight, payload, axle count, pull type, construction — rather than sleeping capacity and water tanks.
- Anything without a dedicated column is appended to the description as a spec sheet, so detail is carried rather than discarded.
- Photos travel as a single quoted column of up to 50 URLs, which is the layout the partner’s data team asked for.
- Pricing is rule-aware: condition-based overrides, make and model overrides, and base-price display are all resolved before the file is built, so the number that ships is the one you configured rather than whatever sits in the raw price column.
- An automated check flags any enabled feed whose last successful push is more than 48 hours old, or that has been switched on for 48 hours and has never pushed at all. Alerts are raised once per dealer and name every affected feed, rather than firing on every run.

Questions
Trailer Trader questions
Will our trailers be duplicated across both feeds?+
No. Each feed includes only what the other excludes, so a unit appears in exactly one of them.
What decides which feed a unit lands in?+
The unit’s category. RV classes go to RV Trader; trailer types go here.
