Digital marketing
Media that is judged on the lead count, not the impressions
Paid search, paid social and the analytics underneath them, run by Wheeler Advertising — in dealership advertising since 1991. This is a separate service from the ScoutRV platform and most dealers do not buy it. If you have an agency you trust, keep them; the website works exactly the same either way.
What the service covers
Paid search
Brand, category and make-model campaigns, structured so the spend follows what actually converts on the site rather than what looks busy in the platform.
Paid social
Meta and the rest, used for reach at the top of the funnel where it is cheapest, and measured against leads rather than engagement.
Analytics and attribution
GA4, call tracking and the lead data behind them, wired so a lead can be traced to the campaign that produced it — which is the part most dealers are missing.
Creative
An in-house studio that shoots and designs, so the ad and the page it lands on are made by people who talk to each other.
Two ways to buy
Which one you are buying
Website only
Most dealersThe whole platform, with your existing agency or your own team running the media. Nothing is held back and nothing is tiered — the feature list is identical to what a dealer buying both receives. If you have an agency you trust, keep them.
Website and marketing
The platform plus Wheeler Advertising running paid search, social and analytics. One team, one number to answer for. The rest of this page is the argument for it — and it is an argument, not a requirement.
Who runs the traffic
For most RV dealers the website and the advertising are two vendors with two invoices and two explanations. When leads are flat, the agency says the site is losing them and the platform says the traffic was never any good. Both stories are unfalsifiable, nobody is accountable for the lead count, and the number does not move.
One team means there is nobody to point at. It also means the budget can be held flat on purpose while the site changes underneath it — which is the only condition under which a lead lift proves anything. Every multiple published on this site was measured that way. That is not a nicer way of working; it is what makes the measurement possible.
Our exclusive agency partner

Buying dealership media since
Wheeler has placed advertising for dealerships since 1991, and has had to re-learn the job at every shift in it — print, to search, to whatever the current one is. Scout is the first time the page the advertising points at is also ours.
People on the team
Strategy, paid media, analytics, and a creative studio that shoots and designs in-house. The person writing the ad and the person building the page it lands on work under the same roof and answer to the same result.
Service tiers, and no long-term contract
There is no bronze, silver or gold, so there is no version of this where a smaller store quietly gets the junior team. Every dealer gets the same one, and the account is re-earned monthly rather than locked in.
The other half of the number
What the media buying does before a shopper reaches the site
These are Wheeler Advertising’s figures for its own accounts, published by the agency and reproduced here unchanged. They are not ScoutRV platform numbers and they are not blended with them. Cheaper, higher-intent traffic and a site that converts it are two separate jobs — the point of this page is that one team is held to both.
Lower cost per click
Blended across every Wheeler RV account against a multi-location competitor group, measured June 2025. The agency’s own figure for its own media buying — not a platform number.
Days on market at the heaviest paid mix
Where paid search drives more than half of vehicle page views, Wheeler’s RV accounts turn a unit in 210 days. The comparison group takes 432, and gets slower the more it spends. Aggregated across hundreds of rooftops, June 2025.
Faster as the paid mix grows, not slower
Across the same accounts, days on market fall from 383 to 210 as paid search goes from a tenth of vehicle page views to more than half. Traffic that gets cheaper and slower to convert is the normal outcome; this is the number the whole arrangement exists for.
The question that sorts this out in one sentence
Ask your website vendor and your agency, separately, which of them is accountable for your lead count this month. If either answer contains the other’s name, you have found the gap — and closing it is the whole reason this arrangement exists: more leads without spending more to get them.
The platform numbers behind that claim, with the method for each, are on the company page, and the case against us is on its own page.
