ScoutRV and RV Trader

Your inventory goes to RV Trader as an automated feed. Your RV Trader account stays yours — Scout supplies the listings, it does not sit between you and the marketplace.

How it works

  • Photos, specifications, pricing and status are mapped to the fields RV Trader expects.
  • Pricing is rule-aware, so dealers running condition-based overrides or base-price display send the correct number rather than whatever sits in the raw price field.
  • Feed delivery is monitored by an automated staleness check, so a feed that quietly stops is caught rather than discovered a fortnight later.

Questions

RV Trader questions

Do we keep our own RV Trader account?+

Yes. The account and the relationship stay yours; Scout supplies the inventory feed to it.

Can we control which units go to the marketplace?+

Yes — by location, condition, category or individual unit.

Which price gets sent?+

Whichever you configure. The mapper reads your pricing rules rather than only the raw list price, which matters if you run overrides.
