ScoutRV and RV Trader
Your inventory goes to RV Trader as an automated feed. Your RV Trader account stays yours — Scout supplies the listings, it does not sit between you and the marketplace.
How it works
- Photos, specifications, pricing and status are mapped to the fields RV Trader expects.
- Pricing is rule-aware: condition-based overrides, make and model overrides, and base-price display are all resolved before the file is built, so the number that ships is the one you configured rather than whatever sits in the raw price column.
- The feed covers RV classes. Pull-behind and utility trailers are excluded here by design and go to Trailer Trader instead, so the two feeds partition the same inventory rather than fighting over it.
- The link back to your own unit page is validated when the feed is set up. A typo in the domain would otherwise ship thousands of dead links to a marketplace before anyone noticed.
- An automated check flags any enabled feed whose last successful push is more than 48 hours old, or that has been switched on for 48 hours and has never pushed at all. Alerts are raised once per dealer and name every affected feed, rather than firing on every run.
- Every file that goes out is archived, so when a partner says a listing is wrong there is a copy of exactly what was sent rather than a reconstruction of what should have been.

Whichever you configure. The mapper reads your pricing rules rather than only the raw list price, which matters if you run overrides.
