42 to 138 leads: a two-location RV dealer’s first month off Ride Digital
A modern-looking site that was not converting. The clearest illustration on this page that design quality and lead volume are separate problems.
unique leads per month
The situation
This dealer was not on an old platform. Their Ride Digital site looked current, loaded acceptably, and would have passed any informal review. They came to us because 42 unique leads a month across two stores and 330 units did not match the traffic they were buying.
That is the useful part of this case. There was no obvious villain — no 2012 template, no broken mobile experience. The site simply was not built to convert, and nothing about looking at it would tell you that.
What changed
The lead mechanics. Single-step contact forms became multi-step forms that surface usable contact data from partial submissions — which alone recovers a meaningful share of the shoppers who start and stop.
Every unit detail page became a lead surface rather than a spec sheet with a form at the bottom. And the concierge picked up the evening and weekend traffic that a two-store dealer generates and cannot staff.
The result
138 unique leads in the first full month against 42 — 3.3×, without a change in media spend.
This is the largest proportional lift on this page, and the reason is the starting point: a site converting well below what its traffic should produce has the most headroom. A dealer already at a healthy baseline should expect less.
Unique leads in the first full month on the new site, measured against that dealer’s own pre-launch baseline. Figures are supplied by the dealer’s analytics and CRM, not modelled. The dealership is not named because we do not publish a client’s numbers under their name without written clearance.

Questions about this result
Our site is modern too. Does that mean we have nothing to gain?+
Not necessarily — this dealer’s site was modern. The check worth running is leads divided by sessions, not how the homepage looks. If you can get that ratio from your analytics, bring it to the demo and we will tell you honestly whether there is room.
What is a partial lead?+
A shopper who starts a multi-step form and abandons it. Because contact information is requested early rather than last, we can hand your team a usable name and number instead of nothing at all.
How quickly did the lift appear?+
Within the first full month. There is no ramp-up period in the numbers we publish — every figure on this page is month one.
